What’s New in DeKalb County Ag Literacy

We’re so excited about this year’s Summer Ag Institute, “Teaching About Food, Farming, and the Environment! Over 220 educators have participated in the years this course has been offered. Teachers may earn graduate credit or 35+ professional development hours. See the brochure for more information. We have a scholarship, too!

Have you seen our local Ag Mag? Check it out online here, or request copies to study with your students. Peek into the lives of seven area farmers and learn about our “Top 4” commodities. The DeKalb County Farmers Ag Mag is modeled after IL Ag in the Classroom’s incredibly popular Ag Mags on corn, soybeans, dairy, etc.
