Ag in the Classroom (AITC) Volunteers

Kevin Faivre serves ice cream to students at Cortland Elementary for the second grade lesson, “From Cow to Ice Cream.”

Students in 140-150 DeKalb County classrooms learn how farming connects to their own lives each year during our Ag in the Classroom outreach. This program is impossible without  dedicated volunteers! Over 100 individuals share their passion for agriculture with students across the county annually. This page is a tool for volunteers to learn about the program and access lesson plans and related resources. Searching for something you don’t see here?
