Membership:
Membership in the DeKalb County Corn & Soybeans Growers involves being a direct member with either or both of the state organizations: Illinois Corn Growers Association (ICGA) or Illinois Soybean Association (ISA), that are both headquartered at Bloomington , IL.

Currently there are 205 Corn Grower and 127 Soybean members in the county.  The Illinois Corn Growers Association dues include a one year/$75 or three year/$145 membership.  The Illinois Soybean Association dues include a one year/$80 or three year/$195 membership.  The dues for both state associations are either paid directly to the state or remitted through the DeKalb County Corn & Soybean Growers that are located in the DeKalb County Farm Bureau office.

Benefits:
The Corn & Soybean Growers are a collective voice for the corn and soybean industries.  Local corn promotions include ethanol, corn food products such as corn oil, corn sweetener, etc.  Local soybean promotions include soy diesel, soy ink, soy food products such as soynuts, soy oil, etc.

Annually, the Corn & Soybean Growers sponsor a hybrid/variety comparison plot through the growing season and a Field Day in September.  Results from this plot are compiled and sent to all members.
